Lonesome Road Community Solar Designated in Sussex County

The Lonesome Road Community Solar project in Seaford has been designated under Executive Order 18, placing it on a 120-business-day permitting track for state agencies.

Developed by Lonesome Road Community Energy Initiative LLC, the 3.0 MWDC / 2.0 MWAC ground-mount solar facility will add 2.0 MWAC directly to local distribution infrastructure. Participating subscribers in Sussex County will see a measurable reduction in electricity costs once the project is operational.
