Cool Spring Crossing Mixed-Use District

The Cool Spring Crossing Mixed-Use District, a key component of the proposed Cool Spring Crossing community, is made up single family, multi-family and commerical spaces. The proposed Cool Spring Crossing community, a proposed 637-acre, mixed-use development includes 1,922 housing units, including 700 workforce village units, 175 of which will be affordable rentals under the Sussex County Rental Program. The mixed used portion of the project includes more than 450,000 square feet of commercial space anchored by a grocery store in the town center, a new Sussex County YMCA, a hotel, an arts building, medical offices, an assisted living facility and a proposed junior/community college.
