Woodpecker Road Community Solar Receives Priority Designation

The Woodpecker Road Community Solar project at 5063 Woodpecker Road, Seaford, has received priority designation under Executive Order 18.

Developed by Woodpecker Road Community Energy Initiative LLC, the 6.0 MWDC / 4.0 MWAC facility will expand clean energy generation in Sussex County and lower energy costs for local subscribers. Notably, the project requires no excessive grading, significant tree clearing, or wetland disturbance, positioning it for an efficient review process.
